Terms of Service

Thai Mingles — the website thaimingles.com and the Thai Mingles apps — is operated by Thai Mingles, a sole proprietorship based in Hong Kong ("we", "us"). By joining the waitlist, creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Thai Mingles.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms. One account per person. You may not use Thai Mingles if we have previously removed you from it.

Give accurate information, including your real date of birth. Keep your password safe and tell us if you think your account is being misused. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.

Thai Mingles is an online dating platform where adults in Thailand and around the world create profiles, browse other members and message each other directly.

We are not a matchmaking, introduction or marriage agency: we don't arrange introductions, meetings or marriages, and we don't run background checks on members. Take care when meeting anyone in person.

You must not use Thai Mingles for, or post:

• anything involving people under 18;
• nudity or sexual content;
• escort, sexual or "sugar" arrangements, or asking for or offering money between members;
• harassment, hate speech, threats or violence;
• scams, spam, advertising or selling;
• fake profiles, impersonation, or photos of someone else;
• sharing other people's personal information without their consent;
• anything illegal.

We may review and remove content, and suspend or ban accounts that break these rules. We may report illegal activity to the authorities.

You own what you post. You give us a licence to host, display and process it so we can run the service — for example, showing your profile to other members, moderating photos and translating messages when you ask us to. Selfies taken for photo verification are used only to verify you (see the Privacy Policy).

• Plus is optional. Prices are shown before you pay: 1 day (US$1.50, one-time), 1 week (US$5) or 1 month (US$10).
• Weekly and monthly plans renew automatically at the same price until you cancel. If a price changes, we'll tell you before your next renewal.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
• Cancel anytime in the app (Profile → Subscription → Manage subscription). You keep Plus until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Refunds are covered by our Refunds & Cancellation Policy.

A Boost (US$1, one-time) shows your profile near the top of Discover for 20 minutes once you start it. Plus includes one free 30-minute Boost every 7 days. Bought Boosts don't expire. A Boost increases visibility; it doesn't guarantee matches or messages.

Daily limits apply to some features, for example the number of likes on a free account and message translations (10 a day free, 100 a day on Plus). For translation, each started 500 characters of a message counts as one translation. We may limit automated, excessive or abusive use.

Translation is done automatically and may be inaccurate. Don't rely on it for anything important.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms or the law, or to protect other members. If we close your account for breaking these Terms, unused paid time is not refunded unless the law requires it. You can stop using Thai Mingles and delete your account at any time.

Thai Mingles is provided "as is". We don't guarantee matches, uninterrupted availability, or the behaviour of other members. You're responsible for your interactions with other people, online and offline.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

The Thai Mingles name, logo, apps and website belong to us. Don't copy or use them without permission.

We may update these Terms. We'll change the date at the top of this page and tell you in the app or by email about significant changes.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. This doesn't take away any consumer protections you have under the law where you live.
